Familienbildungsstätte Die Wiege e.V. in Remscheid

Die Familienbildungsstätte (FBS) ist eine staatlich anerkannte Einrichtung der Weiterbildung. Die Veranstaltungen der FBS sind grundsätzlich offen für jeden Interessierten. Das am 21.09.2010 verliehene Paritätische Qualitätssiegel wurde im November 2022 erneuert.

FAMILIENBILDUNG

Zeitgemäße und zukunftsorientierte Familienbildung setzt mehr denn je auf das Prinzip der Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe. Zukunftsorientierte Familienbildung basiert auf dem Anspruch moderner Menschen auf ein selbstbestimmtes Leben. Moderne Eltern hinterfragen Traditionen und bis dato tradiertes Handeln und Denken im Verhältnis zu einer sich radikal verändernden Welt.

Verantwortungsbewusste Eltern haben das Bedürfnis und den Anspruch, den Kindern in ihrer Familie ein glückliches Leben zu bieten, sie zum Glück zu befähigen und ihnen nicht zuletzt eine in jedweder Hinsicht liebenswerte Welt zu eröffnen. In der Vereinbarung von individueller und beruflicher Selbstverwirklichung wird im Rahmen einer familiär geprägten Lebenswelt das eigene Glück gesucht.

Die Familienbildung gibt in diesem Zusammenhang vielfältige Orientierungshilfen für Erwachsene, die mit Kindern leben: Von Eltern-Kind-Kursen über Informationsveranstaltungen zu Erziehungs-, Lebens und Gesundheitsfragen, die Eltern helfen, sich ihrer Kompetenzen und Ressourcen und ihrer Ansprüche und Bedürfnisse zu vergewissern und Sicherheit und Stärke zu gewinnen bis hin zu Angeboten der persönlichen, künstlerischen und kreativen Entfaltung.

Ziel ist die Entwicklung und Vermittlung von Fähigkeiten für eine eigene Lebensführung und der Aufbau von positiven und aktiven Gefühlen und Kompetenzen für die eigenverantwortliche Partizipation am gesellschaftlichen Leben.
